Sweet sour Chicken
A great starter with a zing
1.Boneless chicken 250 gms washed and chopped into bite size bits
2.8-10 pods of garlic peeled and chopped fine
3.1/2 inch piece of ginger,washed and chopped fine
4.1 tsp pepper powder
5.1 tsp salt
6.2-3 tsp sugar
7.Soya sauce 2 tbsp
8. 2 tsp oil
9.2 tsp cornflour mixed to a fine paste with 2 tbsp water & the sugar
10.1 tsp sesame seeds toasted.
1.Add the oil into a dekchi,warm it on a slow fire and add the chopped garlic & ginger
2.Saute this till golden brown.
3.Add the chicken pieces and toss it,then add salt and stir it till the pieces loose their translucency & appear dense,add the pepper powder and stir again to mix.
4.Now add the soya sauce & further stir to mix well
5.Add the cornflour paste prepared,and further stir fry it to coat the chicken pieces
6.Finally add the toasted sesame seeds and toss.
7.Voila the starter is ready.
