Pepper Chicken

Recipe Description: 

As a teenager,i never liked entering the kitchen.But as i grew up i started to know how important it is to learn cooking.So it all started one fine day,when i cooked my first simple meal!From that point i dint look back and now being married ,i love experimenting and cooking for my husband :) SO this dish which i am listing below is very simple and one of my finest experiments:) Its one dish most people love and great for parties too !

Ingredients: 

8 medium pieces (about 800 grams) of chicken
Onions - 2 medium
Tomatoes - 1 medium
Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Pepper powder/crushed pepper -2 tbsp(or to taste)
Ghee/Oil - 2 tsp
Lime to taste
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnish.

Instructions: 

Wash and cut Chicken to desired size.
Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Fry onions till slighty brown and add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and fry for about 2-3 min. At this stage add pepper and fry for another min.
Add the chicken pieces and Stir in some water if required and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for about 12 minutes or till the chicken pieces are well cooked. If the chicken is not yet cooked and the gravy looks dry, add some water little by little as required . Cover and cook on low heat till done.
Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves and a sprinkling of freshly milled pepper and lime juice .
