Methi Murg

An awesome yummy chicken dish,easy to make for beginners.Tastes delicious in winters with hot rotis or bajra chi bhaakri.A different recipe which one can prepare with boneless chicken.
1)500 gms boneless chicken pieces
2)200 gms onions
3)200 gms tomatoes
4)100 gms sour curd
5)2 tabsps cream
6)10 pcs mangalorean cashews
7)1 tabsp chicken garam masala
8)2 tabsp green masala(1 tabsp corriander leaves,2 leaves of pudina,1" ginger,8 pods garlic+2 green chillies-all ground to a paste)
9)2 tabsp dried kasuri methi
10)1/2 teasp turmeric n chillie powder
wash and cut chicken into 1x1 inch boneless pieces.reserve the bones for stock.
marinate the chicken pieces with the curd n green masala.
grind together soaked cashews and powdered garam masala and keep aside the paste.
soak kasuri methi in hot water.
make puree of tomatoes.
In a kadhai, add oil,add chopped onions, saute till they turn pink.add marinated chicken and stir.Add tomato puree and fry till oil separates. add cashew paste and fry.add salt,turmeric n red chilly powder.now simmer for 10 mins.add kasuri methi and cook for another 10 mins.remove from heat and add cream and garnish with spring onions and serve .
