Spicy drink served as an accompaniment to a main meal. Goes great with rice, bread or anything else. Can be mixed with rice, or dipped, or had by itself.
Grated coconut - 2cups
Jeera (cumin seeds) - 1 Teasp.
Meera (Pepper corns) - 1/4 teasp.
Garlic - 4 flakes
Dried, red chillies-5
Tamarind pulp- 1 teasp.
Heat oil in a pan.
When heated, peel the garlic flakes & add in it and after a few seconds, add jeera & meera in it.
Turn off the heat & add chillies in it.
When it cools down, grind it along with all other ingredients to a smooth consistency.
Transfer it in a cookin pan & heat it only to one boil.
